Raila Odinga Dismisses ‘noisemaking’ Idlers From Orange House

CORD leader Raila Odinga was on Sunday had no option but to abandon to the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting after a group of ODM supporters mobbed him at Orange House.

An infuriated Odinga walked out of the meeting and lashed out at the rowdy group accusing them of being indisciplined. Speaking in Dholuo, the former Prime Minister questioned the youth on who had invited them and why they were making noise outside the ODM headquarters. “Un ka koro members nigi meeting kae to ubiro go koko kae? Mano bende nitie discipline? Nga’ mane osolo u kae? Loosely translated: "There is a meeting here and you are out here making noise. who invited you here? Odinga posed. After scolding and telling his supporters that there was a time for everything, the Opposition leader sped off in his car. ODM Director of Communications, Philip Etale steered clear of the issue but disclosed that they had a successful meeting where they discussed several issues including party defectors and corruption scandals that have hit the Jubilee government.
