Jubilee Politician Marries A Popular Socialite

A wealthy Jubilee politician has for the last two weeks been at the centre of a dramatic online war after his wife took to a popular Facebook group to air shameful details of their marriage. Nairobi businessman Zaheer Jhanda who is eyeing the Nyaribari Chache Parliamentary seat on a Jubilee party ticket was forced to publicly respond to his wife’s claims that a popular socialite had bewitched him.
Drama begun after the politician’s wife Aaliyah Zaheer posted on Kilimani Mums Nairobi Uncensored accusing a popular socialite of using sorcery to ruin her marriage. The socialite in question was Faith Mutua who goes by the popular name - Amber Ray.

The story took a dramatic twist after one of the users on the gossip group posted a marriage certificate claiming that the socialite was actually the second wife to the wealthy politician. As poet Shakespeare once remarked: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

The politician’s first wife started posting bizarre images which she alleged were those of Ms Mutua while she was visiting a witchdoctor. As the drama escalated, Zaheer came out to clear the air - revealing that Ms Mutua was his second wife. With regard to controversial photos, the polygamous husband explained that the photos were actually taken from his second wife’s movie scene - adding that he was there when they were taken. “I am a Muslim, I am allowed up to four wives.

Of course like any other woman my first wife can’t willingly allow me to marry, but I have sat her down and explained to her the situation. She lacks nothing, she’s well taken care of,” the aspiring MP revealed. He added: “Marrying a second wife doesn’t mean am leaving my first wife who has been with me through thick and thin for the past 15 years and I love her so much. I have explained to my family that Faith (Mutua) is my legally married wife”.

The youthful politician has built a personal brand of flamboyance and was one of the closest friend to the late Fidel Odinga.

Mike Sonko Fights With A Former Radio Presenter

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko today entangled in a fierce twitter fight with former Classic 105 radio presenter Ciku Muiruri.

The scuffle started off when Ms Muiruri launched a thinly-veiled attack at the Senator by endorsing Peter Kenneth's bid for Nairobi governorship and further stating that he (Kenneth) would "save us from Mike Sonko ."

“If Peter Kenneth runs for Governor of Nairobi I will be filled with such elation, euphoria and exultation. I can't even begin to describe!” Ms Muiruri tweeted.
“So much so that I will happily donate my time, resources etc to make sure you get elected!

Please save us from Mike Sonko,” she added.
After making such announcement, Sonko on the other hand started digging up on the alleged sins that the media personality had committed in the past. “Kenyans haven't forgotten the company you keep, you dined and wined with foreign mercenaries. You should focus on clearing your name first ,” Sonko told Muiruri.

To respond to such allegations, the journalist told off Sonko bringing to light his recent 'I am acting President' remark which had been termed as loose and ignorant.
“Subjudice. Perhaps if you read a book or two you'd know what that means.

You'd also know who assumes office when President & DP aren't there,” Muiruri said.
Sometimes in the year 2005,Jicho Pevu investigative journalist Mohammed Ali did an investigative story linking Muiruri to the infamous Armenian brothers - Artur Margaryan and Artur Sargasyan - who were said to be conmen, drug lords and mercenaries. In the clips taken, Ms Muiruri was spotted in the company of the duo, casting doubt on her character.

Ciku Muiruri later dismissed such allegations which linked her to the two Armenian brothers.
She said that the story had aspersed her personality and ruined her future prospects.

Further to that, the Presidency can also be held by the Chief Justice in case all those previously mentioned are unavailable. According to the law, situations which could lead to a vacancy in the highest office in the land include; if the President dies, resigns in writing, is declared incapable of ruling or is impeached by Parliament. If the stated officers hold the office in such eventualities, a Presidential election should be held within 60 days.
