New revelations have emerged into the shameful incident where two Members of County Assembly (MCAs) in Kisii were nabbed for allegedly engaging in sexual activities with underage school girls.
Reports now indicate that the randy lawmakers used money to woo the girls whom they showered with goodies including new clothes before booking a hotel where they would spend the weekend.
According to one the girls, they spent a night with the two leaders at a hotel in Kisii town before they were taken to another hotel for breakfast.
"We left school on Friday and spent two days with our friends," said one of the girls.
Police expressed that prior to the arrest, they became suspicious of the occupants of a car coming from Rongo in Migori County, and upon trailing it they noticed the students inside changing their clothes.
Curious residents immediately milled around the scene, with the officers from Nyamarambe Police Station being forced to fire shots in the air to disperse the angry locals who threatened to lynch the MCAs.
At the time of the arrest, the three teenagers aged between 16 and 17 years were being escorted back to school in one of the MCAs car - a Nissan Sunny KBJ 741N. Two of them had allegedly been sent home for school fees on Friday, while the third one had asked for permission to go the hospital.
The girls were taken to Nyamarambe District Hospital for medical tests and later to the Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital for further examination.
On the other hand, the rogue politicians were transferred to Nyamarambe Police Station before being arraigned in court later in the day.
