MP's DAUGHTER KILLED IN NAIROBI ACCIDENT

Kisumu West Member of Parliament (MP) Olago Aluoch's daughter was on Saturday morning killed in a deadly road accident along Nairobi's Lang'ata road. Joy Atieno who is a clerk in the Senate lost her life while returning home in the wee hours of the morning when the vehicle she was driving lost control and crashed. According to the legislator, her daughter's vehicle rolled severally before landing killing her on the spot. The deceased who served under the Senate's Energy and Delegation committee was returning home to finalise arrangements of the Committee's trip to the United States. “Joy was rushing home to prepare for the Committee’s trip to Washington DC, United States whose departure was slated for tonight,” stated the legislator. Mr Aluoch expressed shock on receiving the sad news since he had just spoken to Ms Atieno on Friday moments before she met her death. “She told me she was processing visas for the senators and also busy because she was in charge of the entire trip,” he added. A week ago, the lawmaker joined the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) after ditching Ford Kenya, the party under which he was elected in the 2013 election.
