Here Is What Donald Trump Told Uhuru Kenyatta Over The Phone

On Tuesday this week the newly elected American President Donald Trump made a phone call to President Uhuru Kenyatta to discuss matters related to economic partnerships and a mutual dedication to overcome terrorism in the world.

The two leaders also discussed challenges of regional security and promised close cooperation. President Uhuru Kenyatta therefore, becomes the fourth African leader to receive such a call from Donald Trump since he ascended to White House early this year.

The two head of states reaffirmed close strong bilateral relationships between Kenya and the US in tackling both economic and extremism.

During the conversation President Trump took his time to appreciate Kenya’s contribution combating terrorism in war torn Somalia.
Similarly,President Trump recognized the contribution towards African Union Mission in Somalia and the sacrifice of Kenyan troops in fighting against Al-Shabaab.
