Why Kalonzo Musyoka Will Not Participate In 2017 General Elections.

Kalonzo Musyoka, the wiper party leader, was on Thursday in shock when he discovered that he would not participate in the 2017 general elections.
Events started unfolding when Kalonzo Musyoka visited one of the registration centers in Wajir. The wiper party leader wanted to verify his credentials in the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR). Outrageously, he discovered that his ID number belongs to a different person named Salome Wanjiru Njoroge  born in 1993.Ms. Salome hails from Gatundu North, Kiambu county where she is registered as a voter using the wiper party leader’s ID number.

Commenting on the issue, Kalonzo Musyoka retaliated that if elections were being held today, he would not have participated as a voter and noted that such matters with a significant anomaly should be dealt with accordingly. Additionally, he said that the mix-up was part of the plans by Jubilee to rig elections come 2017 through the use of fake IDs to register voters.

Kalonzo Musyoka was accompanied by FORD-Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula who said that elections are not stolen in a single day but it is a continuous process which involves dirty schemes such the one used to register voters using fake IDs.

On his part, the wiper party leader complained that he is again forced to register as a voter following such glitch .
According to the Kenyan law, it will be difficult for Kalonzo Musyoka to contest for any elective seat since he has not duly registered as a voter.
